So, what happened at this mom's home when the evidence on this website clearly suggests that something went wrong with this delayed emergency response residential oil spill clean-up disaster.

These companies involved with this supposed clean up spent nearly one million dollars attempting to fix this $200,000 home and fighting her in court with their high priced attorneys and caused her to be displaced nearly 7 years, ruined her home and bankrupted her and as a result almost lost her home.

For the last eight years she has nothing but stress and anxiety and has not had one single break. Instead of retiring and enjoying her golden years she works 50 – 60 hours a week waitressing to make ends meet. She has suffered so much and at no fault of her own.

Her homes foundation is permeated with the smell of #2 fuel oil. A temporary soil gas vapor venting system was placed below the foundation. Although they initially installed one they removed it before finishing this supposed cleanup.

There is a notable fuel odor when entering the breezeway of the home, in the kitchen and the entire basement which is currently sealed off from the upper level of the home.

The surrounding protected wetlands are still polluted to this day 8 years later!

Is this fair? We do not think so!!

Dear readers, supporters and friends, you can help Mom and this Campaign by contacting these companies today!

Please take a moment by calling and telling them to "Make it Right!" If enough people keep calling them maybe they will get the message!

Message to Mr. Berkley

Why don't you consider making things right and putting an end to this boycott and get some positive publicity.

In case you are not aware, your employee Senior Claims Adjuster, Mr. Leo Perreault told this Mom several weeks after this supposed cleaned initiated that ACADIA Insurance would pay for the loss of use and reimburse her for additional living expenses at the end of this claim.

He stopped payment after we told him that we were getting sick from the elevated chemical compounds that were in the ambient air throughout the home and told her she did not get sick because of these elevated oil vapors in the home.

Well Mr. Berkley, This Did Not Happen and Mrs. Demers was never REIMBURSED!!

If you are upset about this continued boycott against your company consider making it right and putting an end to this!

It is not this woman's fault this environmental cleanup lasted nearly a year and a half. Perhaps, you should carefully take the time to look at the documents in this case.

The only person we feel you should be upset with is your own employee Mr. Perreault and the companies who conducted this supposed cleanup ENPRO and AMBROSE for not doing their job properly and causing this delayed environmental disaster!!

You can contact me anytime if you would like to talk.

This Boycott will continue for another 8 years if need be!

Michael Demers

Mr. Leo Perreault - Senior Claims Adjuster for ACADIA INSURANCE COMPANY of Bedford New Hampshire - This Claims Adjuster only visited this Home once durng the oil spill clean up, in March of 2007 and could not detect any Petroleum odors in the Home.

At the time there was over 50 tons of contaminated soil below the Home's foundation and there were elevated levels of oil chemicals in the air in the home! Every one else who visited the Home could smell the OIL!!!

Mr. Perreault, instead of properly monitoring the environmental contractors during this emergency response clean-up disaster, was absent from the site and let these companies run a muck by running up a $400,000.00 plus bill that was more than the home was worth.
